Alternity Wind Power was founded to fill a void in the wind energy marketplace. Currently, many early stage wind project developers have difficulty finding the partner they need to either get projects under way or get stalled projects finished. Alternity Wind Power intends to be that partner and help early stage developers move their projects ahead, effectively and efficiently, to completion.
As an affiliate of The Conti Group, a 100-year-old diversified engineering and construction firm, Alternity Wind Power brings a heritage of best-of-class development and build-out practices to our projects. We participate in the wind power industry as a late stage integrated developer and self-performing builder of utility-scale wind farm projects in North America. Our company partners with early stage wind power developers and provides them with the financial, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning expertise they need to get their projects up and running.
Alternity Wind Power plans to create a portfolio of more than 2100 MW of wind power capacity in North America by 2012, and will specialize in bringing wind farms on-line with capacities of 50 MW or greater.
Drawing upon the expertise of The Conti Group, Alternity Wind Power is one of the few firms that brings project development, construction, commissioning and operation of large-scale wind power farms under a single roof. This enables us to significantly reduce the frictional costs which often occur when different entities control the various construction phases of a project.
